hildren need immunizations to protect against diseases. Before children reach 2 years old, they will
need the immunization shots to protect against: hepatitus B, polio, measles, mumps, rubella
(German measles), pertussis (whooping cough), diphtheria, tetanus (lockjaw), a type of spinal meningitis,
and chicken pox. Visiting your pediatrician regularly for check ups will ensure that your child will get
the shots they need to keep healthy.
